SHERIDAN AUTOMOTIVE PLEDGES QUALITY, COURTESY

Byline:   James Russell Staff Writer

Owners of a new automotive repair and maintenance shop in Jupiter say their business is going to make life much easier for
residents who drive Hondas and Acuras.

Sheridan Automotive opened its doors for business March 13 at 130 Juno St., Suite #3, and owners Jeff and Debra Sheridan
said they hope to provide high quality work at a hometown price.

"We feel that it's important for owners to have the best quality work at more reasonable pricing," Debra said. "Also in the
town of Jupiter, the closest Honda dealerships are about 20 miles away to the north or south, making vehicle repairs
inconvenient for the average working family. We want to be the remedy for that."

With more than 20 combined years of experience working as employees for Honda, the Sheridans said they have the
know-how to handle any problem a Honda or Acura automobile might have. They said their quest to provide the best quality
for their patrons has led them to use nothing but genuine factory Honda parts on the vehicles they service.

"We really want our shop to remind people of the auto shops of yesteryear, when you could get high quality and genuine
courtesy from the technicians who service your car," Jeff said. "We take pride in what we do and how we do it."

Jeff, a certified and factory-trained Honda technician, said opening his own automotive service shop is the culmination of a
dream that began when he first fell in love with cars as a teenager. He said his first auto service job was as a gas pumper at a
service station when he was in high school.

Debra said her family's connection with automobiles even spills over into their hobbies. The family maintains and races a car at
Morosso Motorsports, but that hobby has been on hold since Sheridan Automotive began being organized.

"We've had to take a time out from that while we get our business on its feet," Debra said. "But it goes to show that, even in
our free time, we're working on cars."

Like so many other families in the area, the Sheridans said they moved to Jupiter Farms from Fort Lauderdale two years ago
to provide a better environment and nicer schools for their two children, Brian, 11, and Lexi, 4.

Debra said her family has been embraced by the community in northern Palm Beach County, and the "hometown feel" that
they enjoy in Jupiter was one of the major factors that helped them shape their new business.

"A lot of big dealerships have service departments that are just so impersonal, but we want to really get to know our patrons,"
Debra said. "We're pretty confident about the quality of service we're offering. We know that if we can get you in the door,
you'll keep coming back to us."

Jeff said Sheridan Automotive is a true family business, since he and Debra are currently running the 2,000-square-foot shop
by themselves. He said future plans for the business are to hire some knowledgeable and well-trained Honda technicians and
to possibly expand the shop's size.

For now, the Sheridans are celebrating the grand opening of their business by offering a special oil change and 21-point
inspection for $9.95.
